Walk with the Developers and Architect of Cedar Speedster
How an underdeveloped site in Fremont evolved into an award-winning office building while keeping a beloved local restaurant, Revel.
CREW Seattle Member Development Committee invite you to join us to visit Cedar Speedster, a brand new 3-story mixed-used office building in the heart of Seattle’s Fremont neighborhood. Completed in 2020, Cedar Speedster is an embodiment of Fremont’s past, present, and future. It pays homage to the neighborhood’s industrial, lumber and sawmill history, incorporates modern office amenities, and features an acclaimed restaurant, Revel, owned by Rachel Yang, a four-time James Beard Award nominated chef. The in-person tour will be led by the Developers Joanna Callahan, Partner at the Hess Callahan Grey Group, and Jieun Shon, Director of Design and Development for evolution Projects; Senior Principal Kristen Scott, Leader of Weber Thompson’s Commercial Office group, and Rachael Meyer, Principal of Weber Thompson’s Landscape Architecture team.
At the end of tour, the registered participants will have the opportunity to have happy hour in the evo lobby space next to Aslan Brewing.
